Truro City Council is pleased to launch the publication of its 2026-2030 Strategy, setting out the Council’s key objectives and a clear vision for the city over the next five years. The Strategy is guided by the vision statement: “A thriving, inclusive and sustainable Truro – where community, commerce, heritage and nature flourish together”. It outlines priorities including supporting communities, protecting green spaces, improving connectivity, strengthening the city centre economy, investing in buildings and heritage, and ensuring transparent and responsible governance.
The objectives have been shaped by feedback from Truro City Council’s 2025 Resident Survey, ensuring that the Council’s plans reflect the priorities and needs of the local community. Printed copies of the Strategy can be picked up from Truro Community Library, Visit Truro Visitor Information Centre on Boscawen Street, and Café in the Park at Boscawen Park.
