Truro City Council is delighted to announce the return of its popular Easter Trail this spring, taking place throughout the Easter holidays across two locations for 2026, as part of the Council’s annual events programme.
Running from Friday 3rd April (Good Friday) to Sunday 19th April 2026, the free, self-led trail invites residents and visitors to explore Victoria Gardens and Boscawen Park by following clues to find hidden letters which uncover a special Easter phrase.
Adding to the fun, children’s entertainer Jules the Ventriloquist will once again return to Victoria Gardens, bringing lively, family-friendly performances on Saturday 4th April, Saturday 11th April and Saturday 18th April.
New for 2026, the Easter Trail will also expand to include a second location at Boscawen Park. The additional trail is being delivered with support from the team at Café in the Park, giving families even more opportunity to take part in the Easter fun.
Each location will facilitate its own separate trail. The Victoria Gardens Easter Trail features hidden bunnies, while the Boscawen Park Easter Trail will use hidden signs with letters to spell out a special Easter phrase.
Mayor of Truro, Councillor Chris Wells, said: “I am pleased the Council is able to once again offer this fun and free activity for Truro’s residents of all ages to enjoy over the Easter holidays. After a very wet winter, it will be great to see everyone out enjoying the sunnier spring weather, hopefully!”
How to take part
Participants can collect a clue and entry sheet from one of the following locations:
- Café in the Park (Boscawen Park Easter Trail)
- Pollen (Victoria Gardens Easter Trail)
- Truro Community Library (Pydar Street)
- Truro Visitor Information Centre (Boscawen Street)
Simply follow the clues around the park or gardens, find the hidden signs and record the letters on the entry sheet.
Once completed, return your sheet to one of the collection points to receive a prize and be entered into the grand prize draw. All entries must be submitted by Sunday 19th April 2026.
The activity is free to take part in and can be completed at any time during the opening hours of Pollen/Café in the Park.
The Easter Trail forms part of Truro City Council’s wider events programme, which aims to provide free activities for residents while encouraging visitors to enjoy Truro’s city centre and green spaces.
Further details on how to take part will be released closer to the event. For updates, follow Truro City Council and Visit Truro on Facebook or visit www.visittruro.org.uk
