Truro City Council is inviting residents, community groups, and local organisations to attend its Annual Town Meeting, which will take place on Thursday 19th March at 7.00pm in the Council Chamber, Municipal Buildings, Boscawen Street, Truro.

The Annual Town Meeting provides an important opportunity for members of the public to meet their City Councillors, learn more about the work of Truro City Council, and engage directly with local representatives on matters affecting the city.

Truro City Councillors will be in attendance, and representatives from community groups across Truro are expected to join the meeting. The event offers residents the opportunity to hear updates on current projects and initiatives, and to gain insight into the Council’s priorities for the years ahead.

Copies of the Truro City Council Strategy 2026–2030 will be available at the meeting. The strategy sets out the Council’s key objectives and outlines its vision and priorities for the city over the next five years.

Residents are encouraged to take part and may submit questions in advance of the meeting by emailing info@truro.gov.uk. Questions submitted ahead of time will help ensure that Councillors can provide detailed and informed responses. Therefore, any questions should be submitted by close of play on Friday 13th March 2026.

The Annual Town Meeting is open to all members of the public, and Truro City Council warmly welcomes everyone with an interest in the city’s future to attend.
