On Friday 14th November, Truro City Council’s Parks team began preparing for the festive season by putting up its annual Christmas trees on High Cross and Lemon Quay.

Truro Town Crier, Lionel Knight, was on hand to watch the installation of both trees. Truro City Council would like to send a huge thank you to Lionel for his generosity in kindly funding both trees and selecting the High Cross tree from Pisky Farm in Carnon Downs.

We would also like to thank Acland Plant Hire for their assistance in moving the trees.

Please note, as part of the preparations for the Truro Christmas Market, Truro City Council’s Parks team has temporarily removed the wooden planters on Lemon Quay.
