This summer, families can look forward to the return of Our Great Little Kids Club, with a fantastic programme of free activities taking place in Truro throughout August.
Organised by Truro City Council in partnership with Visit Truro and Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery, the programme will run from Monday 3rd to Friday 28th August, offering free weekday activities for primary school-aged children.
The full programme of events will be announced soon, with a variety of fun, creative and interactive sessions planned at Victoria Gardens Bandstand (with museum sessions held at Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery).
The popular Denzel the Hedgehog Trail will also return from Saturday 25th July to Monday 31st August. Children can pick up a free activity pack and explore the city centre in search of wooden hedgehogs, hidden in shop windows and visitor attractions. Children who complete the trail will be able to enter a prize draw and collect a free “I Love Denzel” sticker.
This year’s trail has already received an excellent response from Truro businesses, with several new participants joining the popular family-friendly activity.
Free activity packs will also include puzzles, colouring activities and information about family-friendly activities taking place across Truro during the summer holidays.
Activity packs will be available to collect from Truro Community Library and Truro Visitor Information Centre on Boscawen Street.
Keep an eye on the Visit Truro website and social media channels (@VisitTruro) for the full Our Great Little Kids Club programme, which will be released soon.
