Loic was born in Truro, where he lives and works. He went to Richard Lander School and Falmouth University. With a background in journalism and screenwriting, and work commissioned by a range of newspapers, magazines and film organisations, Loic has also worked in retail and catering, and continues to work in music and copywriting. Loic is a Cornwall Councillor and the Deputy Mayor. Loic also serves the community on a range of local charities and trusts, including the Truro Loops and Truro Community Land Trust. He has previously served as a school governor and is the present Deputy Mayor of Truro, as well as a Cornwall Councillor.
