Victoria Gardens Bandstand Concerts to return for 2022

Truro City Council is pleased to announce the return of the Victoria Gardens Bandstand Concerts for 2022.

The summer concert series is due to begin on Sunday 8th May following two years of cancellations due to the pandemic.

Concerts will take place every Sunday in Victoria Gardens until Sunday 11th September.

Each concert will run from 14.30 – 16.00.

They are free to attend and no prior booking is required.

Truro City Council’s Parks, Amenities and Facilities Officer, Richard Budge, commented: “I am so pleased to see the return of the summer band concerts after the two year covid break.

“Our parks are here for everyone to enjoy, and events like this substantially enhance the experience of a visit.”

This year’s performers include City of Truro Wind Orchestra, Camborne Youth Band, Lanner & District Silver Band, and City of Truro Male Choir.

For further information on the programme and the performers, see the Visit Truro website:

Pollen in the Park will also be open from 10.00 to 16.00, serving refreshments. Please note that they may close in bad weather.

Please be aware that Victoria Gardens may also close in instances of bad weather and that any concert on that day would have to be cancelled.
