New for 2022- Truro City Council’s Easter Trail

Truro City Council is pleased to introduce a new angle on an old event for 2022: An Easter Trail in Victoria Gardens.

The trail will run daily throughout the Easter holiday, from Monday 11th April to Sunday 24th April.

Residents of Truro are invited to take part in this free activity, in which they must collect clues to find letters hidden in the garden, which spell a special phrase.

The clues are able to be collected from Pollen in the Park, Truro Community Library, and Truro Visitor Information Centre.

Once you have completed the trail, decorate the letters and enter them into the draw to be in with the chance of winning a prize.

Entry forms will be printed on the reverse of the clues. Please submit your completed forms to Pollen in the Park, who are open daily from 10.00 – 16.00.

Once you have submitted your entry, you will be given a gift for taking part, such as a small chocolate egg.

The main prize draw will take place on Monday 25th April. The winners will be contacted via the details provided on their entry form.

The prize will be of a sustainable nature, such as flower seeds with planting instructions for children to plant at home.

Mayor of Truro, Cllr Steven Webb, commented: “I am very excited for the children of Truro, who have the opportunity to take part in this wonderful event.

“We recognise the importance of encouraging children to enjoy the great outdoors and we look forward to welcoming them to Victoria Gardens this Easter.”

Please note that in instances of bad weather, Pollen in the Park will be closed.

Please also be aware that the gardens may close in instances of high winds.
