Truro Mayor Cllr Carol Swain has paid tribute to the Archdeacon of Cornwall

Truro Mayor Cllr Carol Swain has paid tribute to the Archdeacon of Cornwall, the Venerable Paul Bryer, whose death was reported earlier this week.

Archdeacon Bryer, a former teacher and head of religious studies, had served in the Diocese since September 2019 when he was installed at Truro Cathedral.

“Archdeacon Deacon was a pillar of our community who was hugely popular both with those he served and his fellow clergy and will be much missed ” said Cllr Swain.  “We would like to offer our condolences to his family and friends.”
