Service Delivery Manager
Truro City Council has developed a new leadership structure to support its ambitious plan to make Truro a great place to live, work and visit. These roles have been created to lead essential operational teams and the successful delivery of their services. As members of the senior management team, the Service Delivery Managers will report to the Town Clerk and play an important part in the Council’s organisational development; this is an exciting time to join and help shape the Council and Truro’s future.
Managing multiple functional areas and teams, a Service Delivery Manager will need rounded leadership experience, superb people coaching skills, a strong performance management ethos and the ability to demonstrate each day a passion and commitment to leading our values of Civility and Respect.

- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Change management skills
- Performance management experience
- Good IT skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and strengthen internal and external relationships

- You actively seek solutions to problems and issues
- You understand how to shape and deliver projects, setting your own pace and creating your own ‘roadmap’
We are looking for strong leaders who are enthusiastic and creative in approach
These are full time, permanent, office-based roles, based in Truro with a starting annual salary of £32,020 (pay award pending).
We offer 23 days holiday a year; plus, bank holidays, two additional statutory days, St Piran’s day, should this fall on a working day and a Local Government Pension scheme
