Truro City Council’s Easter Trail returns to Victoria Gardens this Easter

28 March 2024

Our popular Easter Trail is returning to Victoria Gardens this Easter.

The self-led trail will run daily throughout the Easter holiday from Good Friday 29th March – Sunday 14th April.

Local residents are invited to take part in this free activity, in which they must follow clues to find bunnies hidden in Victoria Gardens. Each bunny displays a letter, which will spell an Easter phrase once all have been found.

To begin, you will need to collect the clue sheet from Truro Community Library, the Truro Visitor Information Centre, or from Victoria Gardens (outside the new Pollen tea hut at the top of the ramp).

As you explore the gardens, you need to note the letters you find on your clue sheet as you will need to return this to enter the grand prize draw!

As Pollen is currently not open for business, to collect a small prize once you have completed the trail, please keep hold of your entry form and return to either Truro Community Library (10am – 4pm) or the Tourist Information Centre (9.30am – 4.30pm)

Please note that the Community Library and the Tourist Information Centre will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

Once you have returned your form, you will automatically be entered into a prize draw where an overall winner will be chosen once the trail has finished after Sunday 14th April. The winner will be contacted via the details provided on their entry form.

Mayor of Truro Cllr Carol Swain is encouraging local residents to take part in this year’s Easter Trail event.

“We recognise the importance of encouraging children to enjoy the great outdoors and we look forward to welcoming them to Victoria Gardens this Easter.”

“We are very pleased to be able to give children in Truro the opportunity to take part in this wonderful event and hope to see as many as possible searching for the hidden bunnies and working out the final phrase”.

Please also be aware that the gardens may close in instances of high winds.
