Treffry Road Community Wood and Orchard
We are incredibly proud of the community fruit and nut orchard and native woodland which the City Council has developed on land adjacent to the Treffry estate.
Led by our Parks, Amenities & Facilities Officer Richard Budge, our countryside rangers have done an amazing job in creating a community space which will help to increase biodiversity and capture carbon.
A huge thank you to the Residents Association for helping to shape the project, Cornwall Council’s Forest for Cornwall team and the Woodland Trust for their support and to the members of the Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen who bought the trees and helped us to plant them.
