Truro Mayor Carol Swain has welcomed the news that FR Simon Robinson has been confirmed as the next Dean of Truro.
Fr Simon, who has been the Interim Dean since October of last year, was previously Vicar of Minehead and has a long history, prior to ordination, of senior leadership in the education sector. He has also been the Chair of the Diocesan Board of Education for the Diocese of Bath and Wells and sits on Diocesan and General Synod and various trust boards, both church and community.
“It gives me great pleasure to congratulate Fr Simon on his official appointment as Dean of Truro“ said Councillor Swain. “We have worked closely with him since his appointment as the Interim Dean last year and look forward to building on this positive relationship in the future”.
