Earlier this week we welcomed judges to the city for this year’s Britain in Bloom competition.
This was the second time this month Truro has been visited by judges – the judges from the South West in Bloom competition toured the city on 11 July.
Once again Truro showed itself at its very best, with some fantastic floral displays and brilliant examples of environmental initiatives and community involvement.
Thanks again to the Truro in Bloom Committee, Richard Budge and the City Council’s Parks Department staff, Biffa Waste and Truro BID for their support.
Thanks also to the community groups who are working so hard to improve their local environments and our l primary schools who take part in the competitions run by the Truro In Bloom committee. The visit went very well, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for positive results in both competitions in the Autumn.
