This department also manages the public conveniences, much of the city centre street furniture and road and pavement weeding in the wider city.

There is also a Community Development team that works closely with residents in the community and an Events Coordinator who works to develop events on Lemon Quay and around the city.

The aim of the Healthy Streets Truro scheme is to help to regenerate the city centre at the same time as increasing opportunities for walking, cycling and bus use and for staging community events. It is also part of the wider ambition to promote sustainable transport and tackle climate change.

If you would like to give feedback about the scheme please email Healthystreets@truro.gov.uk

The Moresk Centre

The churches of Truro have joined together with Truro City Council to form a charitable trust and offer rooms as a community area that can be booked by clubs and more.

The centre has three rooms available to book, seating 10, 15 and 70 retrospectively.
